Welcome!

My name is Melissa Hardesty, and I am the RTI Reading Focus Teacher at Kingston Springs Elementary School.  I attended KSES as a child and graduated as Co-Valedictorian from Harpeth High School in 2001.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) from Lambuth University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2005.  I earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with a license in administration from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2011. 

I began my teaching career at Kingston Springs Elementary in 2005. I taught kindergarten, second grade, and third grade before becoming the RTI Reading Focus teacher in 2016.
