School Counseling

Kelsey Kay Herring is the school counselor for Kingston Springs Elementary School.

As the school counselor, Mrs. Herring teaches guidance lessons that prioritize social-emotional learning, such as friendship skills, kindness, and coping skills. She meets with students 1:1 or in groups, and she also serves as the school’s 504 coordinator. As she tells students, she can help with “feelings & friendships.” She collaborates with teachers and parents to uplift all students and create a safe and caring community at Kingston Springs.
