Mrs. Misty Norfleet
Kingston Springs Elementary School is a wonderful place to work. I have been a teacher here since 1990. ( Yep-- That's a long time. ) My parents moved to Kingston Springs in 1971 in order for their four children to receive a better education at this particular school. Little did I know how much that move would impact my life's journey in education. It was at that little school on the hill ( old KSES building ) in fourth grade that I knew I HAD to become a teacher. The new school building opened in 1990, and I was blessed to be offered my first teaching position that year. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I am passionate about teaching fourth grade math. My goal is that all children learn to love math through a variety of methods such as singing, dancing, and laughing. On a personal note, I am married to Mike Norfleet and have two wonderful stepdaughters, Keri and Lindsay. I am also blessed with a beautiful grandson, Hudson Mac.
